Comfortable Accommodation: The rooms at this hotel were like a cozy retreat, offering all the comforts of home. I felt like I was wrapped in a warm blanket, enjoying satellite TV and browsing the internet with ease. It was the perfect place to relax after a long day of exploring the city.

What I needed: A small room with bed, desk, TV, toilet & shower. Large breakfast room with enough to choose from. Close to S-Bahn station and Tram to the Old Town.
Some of the guests were extremely drunk and noisy the first night. The following nights were OK.

The room was super spacious and had plenty of room for all of us to hang out and relax. Plus, the location was perfect for us teenagers looking for some fun. We were so close to the coolest clubs and nightlife in Dusseldorf, it was epic!
The only thing we wished for was a more happening pool area. It would have been awesome to have a pool where we could chill during the day and have some fun water activities.

Location only
Expensive, old fashioned, dark lighting, no hair dryer

This is a very poor hotel as far as decor, room size, facilities. It is really a hostel standard charging 4 star rates. There was a strong smell of oil on the ground floor.

our stay at metropol was a refreshing escape from the chaos of the city. the staff were friendly and the lobby had a bright and tidy atmosphere. the nearby coffee shop was a lovely bonus.
No fan or AC in the room.

The staff were friendly, breakfast reasonable, coffee horrible. Rooms paper thin walls and tiny - I mean really really tiny.
Way to expensive. For a backpacker hotel at say 30 euro maybe but 100 euro - no way

Breakfast was good standard. Receptionist was helpful with directions to local area.Room was clean and mainly with modern refurbishments. Only six tram stops from main station. For the price I paid which was v.cheap could not fault.
Nothing. Would like to comment more but only stayed one night and was raining so unable to comment too much on immediate surroundings and where main sights of Duesseldorf were located in proximity to hotel.

The receptionist had dark, big curly hair and was friendly. They provided a new shower curtain in my room. The location is conveniently close to the university and city centre. The staff were polite and helpful. Transportation options were easily accessible.

Very good hotel for the price. Nice small room, comfortable, enough.
I wouldnt recommend it to families or people with high expectations. But if you got there after 2 weeks of sharing a room with 10 people, is wonderful.

The room had everything I needed, including a small table and chair, a well-sized flat-screen TV, and fast WiFi. It was super clean with no unpleasant smells. The location was mind-blowing, with train and tram stations, restaurants, supermarkets, and a mall just a few hundred meters away. Plus, having a cinema right next door was jaw-dropping. The staff were friendly, the lobby was bright and tidy, and there was even a lovely little coffee shop nearby. I was also impressed with the functioning elevator. And the best part? It was all at an amazingly cheap price.

The location is close to the Bilk train station, but that is about it.
You could hear everything that was going on in the hotel in the room, making it impossible to sleep. Everytime a door open or closed it made our door make a loud noise.
